        Andrea Perry is talented Assistant Director, Producer, and Editor. Recently, she graduated Cum Laude from Ball State University with two degrees: Telecommunications: Production Option, and Spanish. Currently, she is working as a Video Tecnician at Vizi Learning Systems. There she edits and shoots interviews and videos for online virtual textbooks. In her final semester of college, she had an internship with the Entrepeneurship Department on campus. This required branding Goldsby Creative Enterprises with the website and video content. Other highlights were serving as Vice President for Cardinal Filmworks, Chair of the Frog Baby Film Festival, and First Assistant Director and Post Production Supervisor for the feature-length film Abbadon, Indiana: Lightning in a Bottle

Fall 2011 she finished a spot for Indiana Tourism at Ball State as well as worked as a producer for a experimental documentary for WIPB called Made in Indiana.

She spent her past summer doing a variety of production jobs including working as a extra on Perks of Being a Wallflower, Parker, and Liberal Arts. She also worked as a Photography Assistant for Cirque Du Soleil's Totem, and as a Production Assistant for UBM Techweb.

Within the past year Andrea has been busy on many productions. Fall 2010 she edited promotional trailers for the DVD release of My Name is Jerry Starring Doug Jones, Tony Stark, and Catherine Hicks. In addition, she has worked on a variety of other shorts and started her own online cooking show called Real College Food. She enjoys combining her passions in film, photography, and cooking.

In 2009, she worked as Assistant Director and Editor for the short film Jalapenos that is now available online on the Global Short Film Network.

In addition to Andrea’s groups and organizations she has been on the Dean’s List since freshman year. Diligent in her studies, she is literate in Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects.

Andrea pursued photography before coming to college. She worked at Laity Lodge Youth Camp taking at least four hundred pictures a day, editing and uploading them to the website.  She won an honorable mention for sports photography and best comic strip by Kent State University for the journalism program at her high school, Olentangy Liberty. There she developed her qualities as a leader as the Photo Editor and Cartoonist for the high school news magazine for three years.  With her involvement with a drug-free program for seven years she won the scholarship honor of the Heart of Teen Advocates. She helped encourage teens to make the right choices and lead committees for events throughout the year.

Regarding volunteerism, Andrea participated in two mission trips. One in Bluefield, West Virginia, included laborious activity of digging trenches and roofing.  The other, in Canandaigua, New York, was more relational and focused on helping families clean, paint, and fix things around the house. She continues to participate in the community at animal shelters walking dogs when she can.

In addition to Andrea’s skills as an artist, she enjoys writing fiction.  She has kept a handwritten journal since the age of eight. In sixth grade she began writing her first novel that reached ninety-seven pages.  She has written a variety of short stories and poems. Currently, she is revising a feature length script, and has participated in National Novel Writing Month for two years

Andrea enjoys traveling, and learning about languages and cultures. While studying abroad in Spain, Summer 2010, she documented each day and posted a video.  She has also traveled to Mexico multiple times and to Canada.  Andrea has a variety of talents and skills that she uses to pursue her passions.
